The Spacecode Pad is a compact desktop RFID reader designed to speed up operational steps that require repetition, precision, and speed. It is built to read and monitor single or multiple items in rapid processes where items are placed in a defined orientation.

The device enables fast association of RFID/LED tags with items in the user’s ERP, making administration, item verification, and tag issuing workflows more efficient. It is used for processing and track-and-trace of blood bags, catheters, pharmaceutical packages, stents, and specimens to support product maintenance, expiration date tracking, and patient safety.

Between 1 and 10 items can be placed on the Pad at the same time, and the LED pick-to-light feature indicates the exact item being sought. The system also provides 1D reading, automated data capture, speedy process management, and instant association of the item with weight history.
