The pHydrunio by GASKATEL revolutionizes pH measurement as the world's first commercially available hydrogen pH electrode. It achieves superior accuracy by combining two hydrogen-platinum electrodes into a single unit, functioning as a complete combination electrode.
Unique Technology and Advantages: Unlike glass electrodes, which rely on a membrane, pHydrunio directly measures hydrogen ion activity. This translates to enhanced precision and stability. The electrode combines an internal hydrogen electrode (acting as the reference) with an outer hydrogen electrode (the actual measuring electrode). The system is self-sufficient, supplying its own hydrogen gas from replaceable internal hydrogen cells. This source powers the electrode for up to 12 months, simplifying maintenance and eliminating the need for large gas tanks. Constructed from Polypropylene (PP), the pHydrunio is unbreakable and highly resistant to chemical attack. It is ideal for challenging media, such such as those containing concentrated fluoride and strongly alkaline or corrosive liquids, across an exceptionally broad pH range (from pH -2 to pH 16). Furthermore, the electrode does not contain any toxic heavy metals.
Key Technical Specifications: The sensor utilizes a Palladium-Platinum gas diffusion electrode and has a low electrical resistance. The electrode shaft has a diameter of 12.2 mm, a length of 120 mm, and features a PG13.5 thread. The output connection is a BNC type, making it compatible with most standard measurement devices.
