2. Warranty Coverage
Labsolutions warrants to the purchaser that the scientific equipment it sells is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of invoice issuance.
3. Warranty Conditions
3.1. This warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects or malfunctions resulting from design, material, or workmanship failures.
3.2. Repair will be carried out at no cost to the customer regarding parts and labor, with the solution (repair, replacement, or return to manufacturer) determined at Labsolutions’ discretion.
3.3. Warranty service will be performed at Labsolutions’ Technical Center, located at Estrada do Gabinal, 313 – Stores 215/216 – Jacarepaguá – Rio de Janeiro – RJ – Brazil.
3.4. Transportation of the equipment to the Technical Center shall be the customer’s responsibility. The return shipment of the repaired equipment will be covered by Labsolutions.
3.5. Should on-site service be required, all costs related to travel, tickets, lodging, and technician per diem will be borne by the customer.
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by improper use, negligence, accidents, drops, or incorrect transportation;
Damage resulting from installation not in accordance with the manufacturer’s manual;
Electrical, chemical, or environmental damage due to unstable power supply, lack of grounding, or exposure to unsuitable conditions;
Normal wear and tear of parts and consumables (cables, batteries, electrodes, lamps, seals, filters, etc.);
Technical interventions performed by third parties not authorized by Labsolutions.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Perform installation and operation in accordance with the technical manual;
Maintain usage, calibration, and preventive maintenance records when applicable;
Use only inputs, accessories, and consumables compatible with and recommended by the manufacturer.
6. Warranty Service Procedure
6.1. The customer must immediately report any defect to Labsolutions’ support team via email [email protected] or phone [●].
6.2. Analysis will be performed by Labsolutions’ Engineering and Service Department (DES).
6.3. Repairs will preferably be carried out at the Labsolutions Technical Center in Rio de Janeiro, as described in item 3.3.
7. Legal Term
In compliance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Law 8.078/90, art. 26, II), the minimum statutory warranty period of 90 (ninety) days is included within the total period offered herein.
8. Jurisdiction
The Court of Santo André – SP – Brazil is elected, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction, to settle any disputes arising from these terms.
