The CIMPS-QE/IPCE is a fully integrated compact workstation for high-accuracy quantum efficiency (QE) and incident-photon-to-current efficiency (IPCE) measurements. Compared with competing products, experiment setup and operation are described as fast and easy, with no need for special knowledge or additional tools.
The platform uses an integrated PTB-traceable optical sensor to measure and exactly feedback-control light intensity, maintaining accurate illumination regardless of LED age and temperature. This removes the need for a reference cell and avoids time-consuming sample holder realignment.
The system includes the patented TLS03 tunable optical light source, which uses dedicated LEDs together with a linear monochromator. It is also presented as an extension of the CIMPS platform, adding QE/IPCE functionality and photocurrent-versus-wavelength capability while supporting experiments such as IMPS, IMVS, and chopped light voltammetry.
