A Class II A2 biological safety cabinet with dual filtered exhaust, developed for microbiology, biomedicine, biosafety laboratories, and other applications requiring simultaneous protection of the operator, sample, and environment. The line combines two high-efficiency exhaust filters with a ULPA main downflow filter, ductless operation, and EN 12469 certification, delivering a clean, cost-effective, and high-performance containment solution.
The filtration system uses two high-efficiency exhaust filters and one main ULPA downflow filter to provide three levels of protection. In the HR1200-IIA2-D model, the exhaust filters are HEPA H14 with typical efficiency of 99.995% at 0.3 µm, while the main filter is ULPA U15 with typical efficiency of 99.9995% at 0.12 µm; in the HR900-IIA2-D model, both the exhaust and main filters are ULPA U15 with 99.9995% at 0.12 µm. Airflow circulation is 70% downflow and 30% exhaust, with a downflow velocity of 0.3 m/s on both models.
The cabinet uses low-noise, energy-efficient EC/DC fans together with long-life LED lighting to reduce power consumption and improve airflow uniformity. The side air design at the upper edge and on both sides of the front window eliminates blind spots and reduces the risk of crossflow between inside and outside air. The compartmented work surface can be removed for sterilization and cleaning, making routine operation easier in laboratories with strict asepsis requirements.
The LCD screen displays operating parameters and cabinet status clearly, while the ultraviolet light can be programmed via a single key, with sterilization intervals from 0 to 24 hours and automatic on/off timing. The interlock system between UV light, illumination lamp, front window, and fan motor prevents incorrect operation, allowing the UV lamp to run only when the main light is off. The unit also includes multiple audible and visual alarms, including blocked filter alert, damaged filter alert, filter and UV end-of-life alert, abnormal door height alarm, door-open-over-limit alarm, and fan turn-off alarm after door opening.
The ergonomic design includes a 10° angled front window, removable hand rest to reduce fatigue, adjustable-height stand with hidden mechanism to avoid contamination, universal castors with self-leveling feet, and a drop-down front window for easier cleaning of the upper glass edge. The line also includes timed IP44 waterproof sockets and optional accessories such as manual or electric water valve, air valve, VHP sterilizer, electric door, and electric underframe.

Applications
The HR900-IIA2-D and HR1200-IIA2-D models are designed for microbiology, biomedicine, and biosafety laboratories that require Class II A2 containment with excellent air cleanliness and simplified ductless installation. The dual filtered exhaust system combined with the ULPA downflow filter makes the line suitable for routine handling of biological samples, cell cultures, research materials, and procedures requiring high cross-contamination control.
The ergonomic configuration, comprehensive alarms, UV programming, and optional accessories also make the line appropriate for high-use laboratories where operator comfort, simplified maintenance, and operating standardization directly affect productivity and process safety.
